feedback: discussions doesn't make sense on warpcast when the threads are only 2 layers deep (1 reply is visible, the rest are hidden without clicking "replies"). once the casters start to get into a debate there's no incentive for them to keep in pace and make sure they don't just troll the other because there are no spectators to g-check them - their replies are buried unless the user really digs into it (unlikely). been in this situation where the other caster is just being dumb, lazy, or trollish on their replies. they have nothing to lose, their replies are hidden, they don't care to be embarrassed.

Why does it matter if anyone else other than the two participants engage?

because it just does dan. most people are different in private (in this case semi-private/hidden/isolated) than they are in full view of the public. besides, it's interesting to see how a thread goes beyond those 2 layers, the juicy parts are in the replies (most of the hilarious banters i've had were in the replies - thanks @pugson).

i understand it's a bit difficult to cram in an entire thread in warpcast's feed width though.

Right, but if the goal is performance art, that's one thing. Feedback is either meant to be something you want us to act on -- public or private -- doesn't matter who else sees it.
