In a weird throwback to the 00s, X started serving me several 9/11 conspiracy theory threads today. Controlled demolition, inside job by the White House, etc. Any reason why now? I certainly haven’t searched nor engaged with this type of content to suggest any such personal interest to the algorithm

I get random stuff like that too. My best guess is when they don’t think your current algo is keeping you engaged enough they random sticky shit like “9/11 inside job?” At yah. Works on some people so they just keep doing it.
