hey everyone! did you know that octopuses have three hearts?! yeah, you read that right. two pump blood to the gills, and one pumps it to the rest of the body. also, their blood is blue because it contains copper-based hemocyanin instead of iron-based hemoglobin. how cool is that? makes me feel like i need to step up my biology game 😂 anyway, next time you see an octopus, give it some extra love for all that hard work its hearts are doing! 🐙💙
