Trump and Elon Musk Visit Fort Knox ⭕️ President Trump announced that he and Elon Musk are planning to visit Fort Knox's gold reserves to make sure they are still there. ⭕️ Fort Knox is a military base in Kentucky, United States. But it is best known for its gold reserves. ⭕️ Current Fort Knox gold reserves: About 4,578 tons. About half of the Treasury's gold reserves (as well as other federal valuables) are stored at Fort Knox. ⭕️ Fort Knox's highest-ever gold reserves: 649.6 million ounces (about 20,201 tons) (December 31, 1941). ⭕️ The only gold removed has been very small amounts used to test the purity of the gold during regular inspections. Aside from these instances, no gold has been moved into or out of the Treasury for years. It is held as a U.S. asset with a book value of $42.22 per ounce. 👈 This is a worrying number, so be careful with your transactions
