What's something about Farcaster that's confusing to you?

want to understand how DCs are built but there are no docs on that.

i know but want to understand the details. 
is it like e2ee? if so, what keys are they encrypted to.
i remember there was a transition but don't remember what exactly happened. and there was also talks about it being textsecure. but was that what we transitioned out of?

yes i remember now -- not having web was such a pain.

They are no longer e2ee since December. The plan is to bring that back when we migrate to the protocol.

Users wanted web DCs and a bunch of other features. And anyone who has anything sensitive can just move convo to signal or WhatsApp
