Payments giant Stripe will resume accepting cryptocurrency payments after a six-year hiatus, beginning with support for the USDC stablecoin. Initially, USDC will be accepted on the Solana, Ethereum, and Polygon blockchains. Stripe had discontinued support for Bitcoin payments in 2018 due to its high volatility.
