Elon, I am reading General John A. Logan's book right now "The Great Conspiracy".  He's my ancestor, the general who proclaimed May 30th Memorial Day. 

The similarities now to then are staggering. I'm halfway through the book.  My great-grandfather William Logan rode with Lincoln on the train during the Lincoln/Douglas Debates.  My great-grandfather fought in the Civil War, joined up in Missouri barely escaping Quantrill's Raiders. 

I didn't know until last week that John A.
