Low fees network base Like most L2 networks, Base enables users to execute Ethereum transactions at a fraction of the cost. With every Base transaction, you incur two costs: a fee to execute the transaction on the L2 network and a fee to publish the transaction on Ethereum (L1) as part of a block.
