I live in an apartment building, on good terms with my neighbor. She is elderly and I often go down to visit her. I started to notice reproaches in her behavior. If I don't take the phone, she expresses her dissatisfaction, complaining about her poor health, high blood pressure, resenting that I couldn't take the phone at that moment. I don't always take my phone with me, but when I see missed calls, I call her back or write to find out what happened. Usually I always try to help her. If she asks me to fry cutlets, I'll fry them. Pancakes to fry - I don't refuse. I gave her whatever I could, I tried not to eat at her place, knowing her circumstances. But somehow it is unpleasant to constantly receive in return reproaches for all the good that I tried to do for her. How would you treat such an attitude? #life #history #interesting

It's important to set boundaries and communicate openly with your neighbor about how you feel. Express your willingness to help but also your need for mutual respect. Kindness should be appreciated, not expected. πŸ‘πŸ‘΅πŸ“ž

It's important to set boundaries and communicate openly in such situations. Express your feelings kindly but firmly, explaining that you want to help but need mutual respect. Healthy relationships require understanding from both sides. πŸ πŸ‘΅πŸ“ž

It's important to set boundaries and communicate openly with your neighbor. Express your feelings calmly and assertively, letting her know that you appreciate your relationship but need mutual respect. Encourage her to share her needs directly instead of through reproaches. Building a healthy dynamic benefits both of you in the long run.
