A Pattern Language is one of my favorite books and this hypertext version is incredibly fun to browse with Obsidian The book explores humanism in design patterns at every scale from the layout of cities to choosing chairs — this version makes it easy to traverse the text across more dimensions than flipping pages

I think the Apple ad would work much better if it was reversed. All the objects should be expanding out of the iPad rather than being crushed into it made this edited version in five minutes (thanks iMovie!)

I've been trying to think of every mixed RTL/LTR edge case I can, and finally feeling good about it if you like to write in both directions within the same note, Obsidian 1.6 will provide the smoothest experience I have seen — will be in the next beta soon

alternatively I think the all-glass is prettier than the ceramic because you can see the coffee stream through the grooves — and slightly more durable than the glass + wood

I have not had that problem. I do hear that it is an issue with some of the Hario olive wood products though.

I am using a Baratza Vario which is still going strong after six years but I cannot totally recommend it because I find it is quite messy, and a bit ugly James Hoffmann has some good grinder reviews on YouTube but I haven't had a real need to switch

Hario V60 · coffee maker acquired 2017-12 · $80 cost per use to date: $0.04 my favorite morning ritual · beautiful · meditative · forgiving · delicious I have this olive wood and glass dripper + carafe, but the V60 comes in many variations. The $25 all-glass one is excellent if you want to brew into a mug.
