Leonardo da Vinci. Galileo Galilei. Benjamin Franklin. I suppose generally anyone regarded as a Renaissance Man or polymath.

Polymaths are good examples but their areas tend to be so broad they mostly are true generalists. What I am searching for are people with 2-3 specific talents that together created something new and interesting at the intersection.

Steve Jobs used to say he was at the intersection of technology and liberal arts. In his words: “Technology alone is not enough. It’s technology married with liberal arts, married with the humanities, that yields us the results that make our heart sing.”
