Obsidian has been cripplingly slow for me (especially in floating windows) after switching to Sway on Ubuntu 22.04. Any ideas?

Which installer version are you on? Try the latest installer. https://help.obsidian.md/Getting+started/Update+Obsidian#Installer+updates

I'm on obsidian v1.5.8 installer v1.5.3 is that the most recent?

No. The most recent installer is 1.5.8 and bumps up Electron version which added some Linux improvements.

Updated, thanks! I think this might be _slightly_ better, but still pretty laggy when dragging around a floating window. perhaps it has something to do with fractional scaling or some other system setting. Probably an Electron+Sway thing more than an Obsidian issue...
