I believe that we are, by nature, rebellious creatures. When growing up, people often told us not to touch that stove, yet we touched it anyways. Remember when somebody said we couldn't do things, and we did it in spite of? 

When I advocate for people, it's not always having to work within the system. Sometimes life is about making a new system within a system. It's about breaking down walls and barriers. Sometimes it is looking "society in the face and say I understand who you want me to be but I'm going to show you who I actually am" (Anthony Anaxagorou). Other times, it is what Marilyn Monroe believed - "If I had observed all the rules, l'd never have gotten anywhere."

Find your rebellious nature that pushes society forward. Be the person you want to be, not the person other people want you to be.
