Biggie Smalls said in one of his hit songs, "Yeah, this album is dedicated to all the teachers that told me I'd never amount to nothin... All the people in the struggle... When I was dead broke, man I couldn't picture this... You know very well who you are. Don't let em hold you down, reach for the stars..." Like many people, Biggie Smalls grew up poor, in a crime ridden environment. He became famous, but not overnight. He grew up facing life's challenges. He faced life's fears. He showed the world what it meant to be different and to succeed. He showed those who never believed in him that he could do it. Moral of the story: Have self-confidence. Believe in yourself.
