In his tweet, Buterin emphasized that he uses applications on a weekly basis that are aimed at maintaining sustainability and do not sacrifice the principles of decentralization. In particular, he praised the RAI stablecoin and the Polymarket forecasting platform. However, the Ethereum co-founder acknowledged the inevitable use of the more centralized USDC stablecoin. Over time, widespread adoption of USDC will make it easier for users to switch to decentralized tokens, Buterin believes.
