What kind of music gets you into a "flow state"? For me, a software engineer, it needs to stimulate both halves of my brain - the creative and the logical/math-y. Instrumental prog and new age often fits the bill. So does prog jazz and "future jazz" or "new London jazz" whatever its called. Sometime just "lofi study" music too. Some favs: Tangerine Dream, Jean Michel Jarre, Jean Luc Ponty, Talking Heads ("Fear..", "Remain...", and "Speaking..."). Longer Yes and Jethro Tull (like "Tales..." and "Passion..."). Future jazz - Yussef Kamaal, Vels Trio, Alfa Mist, etc ... The tamer side of math rock (like Delta Sleep). How about you? https://open.spotify.com/track/6UDCNUJoqzoLaEYhw5DMkN?si=9e7a05a0afaf49e8
