firmly agree with @bigjaymes that it's best to keep the ideas separate

part of the magic of $DEGEN appearing was the free spirit of the /degen channel

the channel is special in it's own right and trying to make it only about the degen token would ruin that

I wouldn't be completely opposed but it also seems like an unnecessary change to me

like the channel isn't lacking in degen coin talk, and it would still confuse new users making them think it's only about the coin in here

Thoughts on the compromise to be 🎩 ? So it is not the purple one and also what @0xen started with 🎩 is very icon to this channel and represents everyone better than the slot machine. Appreciate your feedback Kenny.
