are there any popular apps where people go to report things in their local communities that can be improved?

looking for a large public repository of trails that are overgrown with weeds, basketball nets that can be replaced, potholes that need to be filled, etc.

In Asia it’s pretty common for public facilities to post a WhatsApp number to which messages and photos can be sent.

Much better to use that than a dedicated app that nobody will download
