it looks like there was an SEO catastrophe on Ethereum.org towards the end of 2023

down 85% from organic keyword all time highs

anyone know if there were big changes made to the domain Oct/Nov 2023?

yeah def some big updates around that time, just seems like an outrageous graph with no recovery to be only that...unless they have a weird spam issue going on

overall their content has always been high quality tho, seems really strange 

this is an example page that used to rank highly and now has basically no valuable page 1 keywords https://ethereum.org/en/get-eth/

has over 200 referring domains...decent enough content...very strange

History, tech stuff, SEO/marketing, shitposting, etc. etc.

No idea what they were publishing but iirc October 2023 was both a core and that spam update
