idk about herculean or worth celebrating but i would say 95+% of people have not done what he is suggesting in like, years

would put money on that not being the case, I think we live in an ultraonline bubble that reinforces this thinking but vast majority of people worldwide disconnect and do normal stuff "rawdog" mode all the time

oh true I didn't read it as "leave your phone entirely at home" but I see that now

in which case 95%+ definitely comes in play because even I keep the phone on me for emergency, just consciously try not to touch it

im def hyperonline and skewed to that view but idk how many ppl go outside for extended periods of time without taking their phone these days? would be surprised if it was a nontrivial percent of people

(i'm sure plenty go on walks and simply don't use their phone, i interpreted his tweet as leave your phone at home and go walk outside for a while)
