my 2 DEGEN on this issue (and something that may be considered blasphemy) I think it may be time to retire the pure in-feed tipping aspect of DEGEN it worked as a fantastic bootstrapping mechanism when most people thought DEGEN was worthless once it had value, it was corrupted because farmers realized they could exploit the system and farmers are smart, there is no way to beat them as long as the system is "anyone who stakes can give away money via a comment" it will be taken advantage of so why not up the bar? hold contests related to DEGEN initiatives, allow anyone to submit to those contests, then let the DEGEN community tip only people who pass a certain bar of achievement within the contests we still get to tip DEGEN, it's just a smaller pool of potential recipients who have to prove themselves as worthy by accomplishing tasks before they're eligible to receive the tips

potential contests could be: - write a twitter thread about the history of DEGEN - wear the biggest purple top hat you can find - write a song about DEGEN and publish it on YouTube this was always about transforming content to currency well who says that bar for content always has to be "a comment on Warpcast"? we're a bigger community now, there are more threats adjust the rules, make it harder to exploit, but still allow motivated individuals to earn DEGEN they'll just have to do more then write spam comments
