I'm seeing a TON of great submissions for this /degen banner contest but I want to highlight one thing for anyone who wants to throw their 🎩 in the ring many of the current designs are focusing on $DEGEN the token vs degen the vibe this part of the instructions is important: "It’s not about the $DEGEN token—it’s about the degenerate lifestyle we all live and love." if you understand the lore of /degen, you'll know that it existed long before the DEGEN token and it was a bastion of free-talking crypto fun when the general attitude towards speculation on this app wasn't as welcoming at the end of the day, @jacek will be making the final call on the winner, but I think if you want the best shot it's probably best to steer away from a strictly "top hat + purple" aesthetic and instead aim for something that captures the true spirit of the channel's history ok, are you ready to claim? submit your banner via 👇 https://poidh.xyz/degen/bounty/719

Got it. People’s preconceptions are stronger than we realize. The image of a top hat is so deeply ingrained in the Degen experience I’ve been through. I hope something creative comes to mind by the 14th. Good luck to me, and to all the artists joining in this challenge!
