How often do you say the word “interesting” in conversation? My friend remarked last night that it’s a vague filler word, and he’s right. I use it that way far too often. It’s sort of like how startups call themselves a “platform.” Doesn’t mean anything.

Too often, I used to use use "um" and "uh" a lot, but found myself replacing those with "awesome" or "interesting" 😩
