What is /moxie ? - Moxie is a new protocol that aligns creators and fans by letting them share in the profits from engagement with a more flattened bonding curve. - Lead by @betashop.eth Moxie looks to offer both fan and channel tokens as ways for degens to accumulate points. - Fans will auction off their fan token and earn points based on their engagement. - Moxie will utilize @airstack.eth’s scoring system to weight different casts. - Fans will also be able to purchase channel tokens to support their favorite homes and earn points from the channel’s engagement. - Unlike FT, we see a much more flattened bonding curve. WTF are fan tokens??? Fans earn 20% of the cast’s points. Fan tokens will be auctioned off to the caster's following. @betashop.eth explains how it will work in this cast below and provides an example. Fans will essentially be able to “bet on” their favorite casters and earn points from their engagement. Ever wanted the chance to “long someone”? Preliminary thoughts about behavior optimization: - Moxie works similar to /scoop - Creators are incentivized to spin up engagement and people who “bet on them” are rewarded - Speculation games are always fun - We want to speculate on people and channels who have yet to POP - Bullish on REAL interactions, farmers will have a tough time with this one as a conversation between myself and @bitfloorsghost.eth is worth more than a cast with 50 likes from bots - The best strategy seems to be optimize for genuine interactions and target channels that people naturally use like /powermonday run by @shulzzz or /appreciation run by @commstark - I suspect channels like /base and /replyguys will be much more expensive, I’m looking to get in on the ground floor on some good homies who I know will succeed on here https://warpcast.com/burrrrrberry/0x819c2036

Hey Burr ( @jdotfinn just tagging you here for reads) Saw you pop in the replies yesterday with Jason. With the auction process, I'm still a bit confused on this. Does the auction process allow all bidders in the end to acquire the token based on an average bidding amount. I'm just looking over the "5000 bidders vs 1000 bidders" example he brought up and wasn't sure the 5000 people missed out because they bid below the winning amount. Obviously want to get my ducks in a row before this auction frenzy starts... the best buys always come in the beginning and forge the entire state of play for a while. It's gonna be crucial. There can be a whole pre-season study to see which channels and people to aim for to be honest. My thoughts, Farcaster Fans will be big for its stability. Reply guys would probably be fairly pricey. But you can already explore channel performance via airstack, which I'm doing and gonna delve deeper. Also, gonna buy some Burr tokens if I can. (Scoop has been a good preview)
