I was really intrigued by this Marina Abramovicā€™s Counting the Rice exercise. Itā€™s meant to build focus, endurance, and self-discipline. The idea is simple: mix rice and lentils together, then decide how much of the mixture youā€™re willing to sort. Start separating them, carefully counting each grain and grouping them in sets. At first, it might seem interesting, but after a while frustration and can kick in. The challenge is to push through and finish. They say if you can complete this exercise, you have the determination to achieve anything in life. Honestly, I think a paint-by-numbers kit works the same way. I bought it thinking it would be relaxing and meditative, but right now, Iā€™m in the ā€œI hate thisā€ phase. At this point, Iā€™d rather accept that I tend to give up halfway than actually finish it https://youtu.be/472JcpWkWws?si=QacPJ4mRx-w3ZyWy

Probably painting by numbers is not your thing, it seems to me much more interesting to draw something yourself. But you make wonderful toys

This thought itā€™s more like embroidery than painting. Though maybe I just have a bad kit or clumsy hands. Paints donā€™t apply well, the details are tiny, and I keep going outside the lines. A nightmare! šŸ˜
