Differences in how nodes and RPC providers handle event caching is a huge pain. I often find myself designing for the lowest common denominator (no event caching) and it's unfortunate. Ofc I could build an indexer but that doesn't always apply to the problem.

It would be *really* nice if there were some standard for how event queries work over json rpc. It's a huge pain that I can't execute a full chain query to find a single event, I'm forced to store info onchain if I want the query to be efficient.

Could you give an example? Very curious about this
