Question for the cat walkers: do you do preventative flea treatments? If so, what is your preference product?

I put on monthly My cat is okay with it but does try to lick the area applied (behind the neck). Will normally get some of it but never have had any negative reactions ~ $8 a dose Never had fleas and we play in all sorts of stuff nearly daily 🍃🌲🌱

Price is actually $113 for a 6 month supply after auto ship from chewy . com It’s also good for all sorts of other critters like heart worms I read they are safe as long as they don’t eat the flea. Then they are not protected

This is so helpful! Thanks for the tip. Yeah, I worry about using flea med because it’s literally poison, but it’s necessary for outdoor adventures. This sounds like one to check out!

Welcome!! Did a ton of research and this has worked out so far My cat is only 2.5 years old and is the only one it has ever known. The key is finding the right spot behind the neck (that can’t be licked)and put it right on the skin
