It is! A seed from a grapefruit I ate had a taproot growing!

this makes me really happy, the smell of grapefruit flowers is literally my favorite thing in the world!

That’s such as a good question! I’m not sure this one will fruit, the seed came from a conventional grapefruit at the grocery store. 

This plant is about 5 years old. It’s been inside most of its life, which has probably stunted the growth.
