> pick your team (5 drivers and 2 constructors) every race _before quali_

> you get 6 ‘chips’ you can use per year for various boosts. you can only use each chip once so it’s worth reading the rules to understand them

> gaining positions and passing other drivers on race day will win you bonus pts, *and being overtaken will lose you pts*

> so don’t optimize for great qualifiers who suck on race day

> DNFs lose points too. it’s all in the rules, don’t worry too much now but read them if you have a moment

> you get 6 chips that you can use for various boosts throughout the season

> read about them in the rules / FAQ after you create your team

> you can only use each chip once so plan carefully! sprint weekends are usually great times to use chips, because there are more points on the table so boosts do more for you

honestly don’t worry too much though, you can just sign up and pick some dudes 

if you have Qs I nerd out on fantasy F1 so hmu any time

> we all start with the same fixed budget 

> when your picks do well your budget will grow, and vice versa

> successfully picking drivers who are undervalued will increase how much money you have to work with as the season goes on

> this is the key to winning the league!
