Marketing isn’t a technology problem, it is a people problem. Companies constantly seek better results, but a big part of the problem is the people they use. Just look at the data below, in which 100 companies were asked if they use email and sms marketing. It’s obvious SMS has higher open rates and converts well. And many email marketing providers offer SMS marketing. The real issue is marketers. They just don’t use the technology at their fingertips. It’s right there… and you already pay for it… use it, and it should help you get better results.

Neil’s dead on—marketers sit on killer tools like SMS but don’t use ‘em; it’s a people fail, not tech.
