How to connect your wallet in @farcaster - a guide for a Noob like me. #1 in my beginners quick start series! It’s important to connect your wallet ASAP, or you may miss out. Here’s how 👇 Step 1 - Click your profile (Top left) and then the settings gear (top right)

Step 2 - select “Connected addresses”

Step 4 - You can connect on mobile directly with the top button. Or via another device (desktop) by emailing yourself a link.

clicking connect will open an external webpage This is completely normal! Follow the steps and both connect your wallet to the site (will be one transaction) And then sign the message (a second transaction) You may find that these don’t work immediately. Simply restart / retry a couple times and they will work!

I’ve found that in some cases you need to reconnect and retry a few times. (due to the amount of traffic Farcaster is getting right now maybe? ) But eventually it will work! This can be annoying if you require a password everytime on MetaMask like me 😅

Once you see a popup like below you know that you are on the right track! Simply connect and sign!(two transactions!)

Once things are complete you should be directed back to the webpage and then back to the @farcaster app. (You may need to manually change / close the web page) Once you see your address like below - you know you are done!
