I dunno but seems a tad sus given there's no real catalyst. Hopefully not just a bunch of farming shifting away from other platforms that completed their airdrops

Me thinking this spike is sus and me agreeing with you are not mutually exclusive. 

I believe normal consumers will buy via Coinbase and seamlessly transfer it onchain via the new smart wallet, then bridge to base without even realizing what they're doing. It'll be simpler to use, less scary to use, and fees will be pennies typically, and I think it'll gain a huge market share bc of it. 

But I also don't think it's unreasonable to question how much of this volume is coming farmers shifting away from zk and blast and whatever other airdrops just wrapped up. Bc the catalyst you're speaking of isn't new and it wouldn't cause spikes, more steady growth.
