there was a time when the timeline felt increasingly diverse; content was fresh; new niche communities were popping up; people from across chains, industries, interests & geographies were coming together here now it feels like a 300 person circle jerk again with the exception of maybe 5 unique/newer accounts

For me it was awesome and then when they changed the channel feed is when everything became very shitty and eco chamber and spam. Not going anywhere but it’s a really bad experience currently.

i still think they need to ~actively~ acquire new & diverse content creators either financially, ie. affiliate or creator fund, or guerrilla, ie. put together a team that scours X and/or other networks & poaches/converts people who are showing dissatisfaction/show why FC is better like look like at murtaza & all the fresh perspective that was spurred from doin something different i think we probably grow qDAU at ~5% y/y without any UA program, which may not be enough to sustain new growth itself it’s either this or we get “a hit” — some frame, game or new use case that sparks some massive onboarding event otherwise i’m a bit cautious here - i have no problem with everyone sitting at their own lunch table; that’s not the issue the issue is that if everyone sits at their own lunch table; new people walking into the cafeteria will feel isolated & leave the solution is to grow the overall size of the cafeteria - which can only be done by offering new kinds of foods & thus creating more tables

But I strongly think that people like Murtaza can stay wherever they came from. Dude just spews predictive programming and main stream propaganda. The scary part about predictive programming and propaganda is that it works even if you think it doesn’t affect you. People like him are cancer.

have you been on X lately my friend? or the TV? 😂 at some point it’s just content for the sake of content - spurs discussion & engagement “no one knows what it means but it’s provocative; it gets the people going” -drake
