You have to really understand the battle that just took place to understand why these specific people are actually going to do what they say they are going to do. America has been an occupied country for the last 4 years and the every single government agency has been co-opted. These people are going to literally delete entire agencies and hopefully eliminate the deep state occupation that has destroyed America. The alternative was perpetual war and a manufactured 1 party state through mass immigration. 

The incentive and benefit to them is removing the people who are destroying our nation and who would have eventually destroyed everyone's wealth.

isn't a fact that most politicians will say anything to get elected and do the minimal possible to get away while in office without fulfilling most of its promises running?

idk maybe the salary softens you out or smt, maybe once you're part of the system becomes harder to criticize or change it
