ran some numbers today since joining Farcaster and inclusive of Proxy Studio & Proxyswap, I have paId out a total of ~$52,725 to individuals, dev teams for contributions & ecosystem projects for services. this number doesn't include non ecosystem fees (google, domains, etc) sources of funding so far have been: /hypersub /degendao + /party + some money I generated trading subscription revenue early on no personal salary yet - soon though

Early stage scaling you will burn 40-75k a month. That’s a healthy burn rate for pre seed / pre a stage

You gotta raise 2m to do that for 12 months with enough runway to not run into needing money again. Also legal compounds at a certain stage. Start paying yourself as soon as you can too :) it’s admirable but leads to burnout. 10k a month is a normal pre seed founder salary if you’re moderately funded.
