Finally watched The Boy and the Heron and was blown away by the animation. It kept outdoing itself with gorgeous scenes and attention to detail. From the magnification of a face through glass, to the subtle movements in the environment as the characters walk through a scene, Studio Ghibli is still the cream of the crop
