Ya exactly. Where @teller comes into play here is you can use your $degen as collateral to get $usdc and then use that $USDC for whatever you want like buying spot or yield farming. 

As long as you repay to loan on time you will receive 100% of your collateral back, even if the price tanks. 

If the price goes up then you got free money. 

People often use this to “loop”. You use degen to get usdc to buy more degen to get more usdc etc. 

That’s riskier and leverage that requires unwinding, but a normal loan is just like a cash advance or line of credit.
