It's a double edged sword but overall needed to be done. They did a "mandate" years ago and to no avail

I also never said I am for them getting paid to not work... There were many issues encountered with the remote working. This change will also not alleviate all issues faced with the remote to physical location change. I could expand more in detail if needed based on the culture I had seen in the federal system.

There are some that are capable of doing work from home. In an all sum scenario it's going to affect some in a negative way as the correction pendulum swings. In the positions I held in the military I had seen both pros and cons. With a more broken down scenario I could explain if needed. Overall I agree this is a great thing.

guess the double edge could be about flexibility vs productivity, but fair point , tough to argue against getting paid for actually working
