Have got a lot wrong over the years with Blockworks. But one thing we got right: When everyone else dumbed down content to appeal to a larger audience, we went deeper, betting that the crypto native audience would eventually grow. Feel good about this decision today.

I joined crypto in 2022 with no knowledge at all, coming from tradfi background. Podcast is the channel for me to learn crypto. Empire was not the first choice for me back then. But now,all the Blockworks production (bell curve, lightspeed, 0x research, empire, 1000x etc) become my must-listen during my jog or commute.

The reason is that I appreciate the (relatively) unbiased stance of Blockworks pods (save for Lightspeed, but that is fine to balance tons of eth maxi pods out there) for various chains . I feel I can learn sth in a more objective manner in these productions. It is difficult to keep in such a tribal world of crypto.

in-depth technical productions has a market for those who are intellectually curious to learn more. People come to crypto, not just purely for money (though it should still be a major reason, no need to feel embarrassed to admit that), but the satisfaction of learning more about computer/blockchain/econ is also high
