Tried out Uniswap’s new Across integration for easy in-app bridging. I was aiming to swap ETH on Base for UNI on Optimism, but right now, it only supports bridging the same asset—no cross-chain swaps just yet. This kind of cross-chain swap will be a game-changer for dApps, but for now, Uniswap has simply added Across to its interface. Still, it’s a big step forward for Across and a promising move in the right direction.
