Hi everyone, here to share @lidofinance CSM v2 tech, specs and perks with you my farcaster frens! Priority queues for Node Operator deposits, ensuring higher-priority NO types (e.g., identified stakers) are deposited first. Custom NO types are managed via CSParametersRegistry, enabling flexible reward shares, performance thresholds, and more. Entry Gates allow permissionless or permissioned onboarding, while Extensions (e.g., DVT-powered) enable advanced management like reward sharing. Legacy queue migration is also supported! Since it's launch, there has been: • 286 new independent operators • Currently managing 0.64% of Lido's TVL • Permission-Less entry coming soon (Early 2025) Truth be told CSM isn't just democratizing Ethereum staking – it's igniting a decentralization inferno! Short Story. TLDR: @lidofinance CSM is something you should definitely try (as a pro or noob staker even as an intending non-staker). Picture this: Crypto maximalists screaming about centralization (with good intent! see https://protos.com/ethereum-centralization-is-becoming-a-serious-problem/), interestingly one of the biggest staking protocols upped their game with another new staking module targeting solo/home stakers. Now anyone with the will can actually become a smoooooth node operator. Since its launch on October, 282 valiant operators have joined, earning rewards and managing over half a percent of Lido's massive TVL. These community operators are very much protected against mishaps (hey, life can happen lol), accelerating Ethereum's path to decentralization (and practicality). Currently capped at 1% in its early days (not for long https://research.lido.fi/t/community-staking-module/5917/75), CSM (csm.lido.fi) is positioned to get everyone on board this interesting decentralisation Journey.
