If US debt-to-GDP is such a problem, why aren’t US Treasury rates surging and other fiat currencies surging relative to the dollar?

Debt to GDP isn’t much beyond a directional indicator Tax revenue to debt might be a more relevant ratio? Like a DSCR. By that measure the latest run up would be just a matter of degree, nothing changed from decades ago
