This year I built… 2️⃣ I built the /frames below. I minted and curated all of the content within them to help new users learn about /farcaster and decentralized social media. 0️⃣ I built artwork. I minted pieces on /zora, /manifold, /highlight, /mintclub, /coinbase, and /farquest. I built a /hypersub. I minted photos on @moshicam and won the Halloween competition. 2️⃣ I built community. I found my communities, and some found me. I made friends. I had coffee with @desultor. I onboarded irl friends to /warpcast and @base. 4️⃣ I built tokens experimenting with different platforms. I’ve learned so much about tokenomics, liquidity pools, locks, and utility. And so much more… A special thank you to @seneca and /base-builds for the opportunity to share. I’ve always suspected that Farcaster’s bot problem was created by Farcaster. It’s a common tactic used by crypto projects to inflate metrics in order to acquire funding. When these projects fail to hit the numbers, they blame their community. It’s crypto. The biggest grifters are at the top.

The Hamcaster website has my caster token linked to a different wallet than the one I created the token with. I have 500 locks on Hamcaster that I won't be able to access cc @deployer please help 🥺

still feeling weird about how channels work on farcaster. a few things that make it frustrating: · memberships lock exploration: instead of encouraging me to explore new channels, the membership system made me stick to the ones i'm already in. · managing pinned frames is annoying: i need to keep the frame pinned in /groupies so people can join, meaning i can't pin other casts to the channel for visibility. · notifications are easy to miss: i never check the channel notifications tab, a friend had to message me to finally see and accept their invite. · posting friction: tried posting in /nature yesterday but wasn't able to since i wasn't a member — the process of going to the channel, finding how to join, then coming back to write the cast again is too much, so it's easier to cast no-channel instead. am i doing something wrong here, or is this a shared experience? i miss the old farcaster, where i could just explore and post freely in different channels.
