I’ve always suspected that Farcaster’s bot problem was created by Farcaster. 

It’s a common tactic used by crypto projects to inflate metrics in order to acquire funding. 

When these projects fail to hit the numbers, they blame their community. It’s crypto. The biggest grifters are at the top.
