TL;DR Gonna fight against $hunt-tip Milkers, help if you can! The $hunt-tipping economy is already very Tipper centric to reward all tippers and only the top receivers. This was designed to motivate tippers to tip more and often and tipping receiver to aim for the top 3 with great content that helps Farcaster and Hunt to make a better builder economy. But you can't redesign GREED. Unfortunately. We have now users, as far as I know a team of four, that are not only reaching for their tipper grants but also think they can self-vote their own project to the top to gain access to the Top 3 grant. As part of the community @gfam and myself decided to countermeasure these activities and get hunters into the TOP 3 that deserves it. To make that happen we have to apologize to the community first, as the tipping is going to be very concentrated to a few users for this season. Plan is very easy. Upvote @jacque @katfantom @lucky-star @snoobs into the top 4 with distance, so there is no chance for that account. 👇

Devil’s advocate here. Every month it’s the same people who make it to the top 100. It’s easy to understand why a newcomer would farm tips to fund a project that otherwise wouldn’t get noticed. Reinforcing the status quo will likely lead to more farming. Personally, I’m more disappointed that /hunt has turned into endless pfp raffles, which is also farming.

Currently, the system in place isn't one that I created; I’m simply doing my best within the framework provided. I understand the concern that the same people seem to dominate the top 100 each season, but when comparing the data from Season 5 and Season 6, only about 51.55% of users in the top 100 are the same. This shows that nearly half of the top 100 changes each season, which suggests that there’s still room for newcomers to make their mark. Regarding PFP raffles and tip farming, I see how it can be frustrating. Feedback like this is essential to improving the system and ensuring it remains fair and engaging for everyone.
