BlackRock Bitcoin ETF Sees Second-Ever Outflow
In one day, the BlackRock iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) exchange-traded fund lost $13.51 million. This was the second outflow of funds from the ETF since its launch in January 2024. The first was $36.9 million and occurred on  May 1.

Across 11 US spot bitcoin funds, investors withdrew about $71.8 million, as of August 29. Fidelity Wise Origin (FBTC) lost the most funds - the fund lost $31.1 million. In second place is Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) with a net outflow of $22.7 million. BlackRock's IBIT bitcoin fund is in third place in terms of losses.
