The tl;dr would be that I philosophically believe in the idea of the blockchain.  I see so many opportunities for society if the world were to move on-chain, not least what it can do for the arts and music - which is my particular corner of the world :-)  I agree that in its current state the blockchain is too opaque, has too much baggage related to risky financial practices and the whole on-boarding experience is stupidly difficult.  With that said - the only way it will change is if "normies" like me and the communities that I work with are encouraged to get wallets and participate.  I don't think that "trading" is going to be the mechanism that will bring the next billion people on-chain - i think it's going to be the classic case of missing out on something that is clearly working and giving others an advantage.  I suspect that music is a strong beachhead so am spending my time learning the space and looking for opportunities to collaborate and unearth  opportunities. :-)
