overheard on abbot kinney woman: please babe i wanna go inside man: lily, how many pairs of Birkenstocks did we see in Italy? woman: … man: zero. how many in France? woman: … man: zero. same for Portugal. same for Switzerland. you are not getting Birkenstocks and we are not going inside unless you want to stay home next european summer.
