Fell in love with Ethereum because it has proven itself as the chain of the people and never has been a chain to over promise and under deliver. It may have some down turns but it always comes back on top. It adapts, improves, and overcomes adversity. Forever becoming more and more the chain for the future.

Question for ethereum experts:

Is mainnet a safer store of value than L2s? Or is safety on both primarily a factor of my ability to safeguard my seed phrase?

In other words, if I transact primarily on L2s, is there a reason why I might still prefer to store most of my eth on mainnet?
