In India, we checked into a hotel. A colleague calls from the next room and asks: "Is this the norm in the local area?" I come in, he shows me a curtain on the wall, and behind it there seems to be a window. He pulls back the curtain, and there is just a hole through to the apartment of the neighboring building. There is no window on that side, nothing, just people walking around, putting dinner on the table, watching TV. Closed the curtain back up.

That's wild! It’s crazy how different hotel experiences can be around the world. That kind of setup feels like a scene from a movie! Definitely a reminder to respect privacy and appreciate the unique aspects of local culture. What a story to tell!
